2. Our role
Blue Sun Shipping is an asset-light freight forwarder and broker. We do not own or operate vessels or other transport assets. We source, arrange and coordinate transport through independent shipping lines, vessel operators, agents and other service providers.
The actual carriage of goods is performed by these third parties under their own terms, bills of lading, charter parties and conditions of carriage, which may limit their liability under applicable international conventions and law.
3. Information on the website
The information on this website about our services, routes, network and capabilities is provided for general information only and does not form a binding offer. Availability of carriers, routes, equipment and schedules changes frequently.
4. Quote requests
Submitting a quote request does not create a contract or a booking. You confirm that the information you provide, including the description, weight, dimensions, hazardous classification and HS code of the cargo, is accurate and complete. Incorrect or incomplete information may lead to changes in price, delays, extra costs, refusal of the cargo or legal consequences, for which the requesting party is responsible.
All enquiries are subject to cargo acceptance, review of the counterparty, route and end use, and applicable sanctions, export control and customs requirements. We may decline any request at our discretion.
5. Quotes and contracts
Our quotes are based on the information provided and on market conditions at the time of quoting. Each quote states its validity, scope, assumptions and exclusions. Rates may change because of carrier surcharges, currency changes, fuel, port charges or other factors outside our control.
A contract is formed only when you accept our written quote and we confirm the booking in writing. The quote, booking confirmation and any separate agreement, together with our standard trading conditions communicated to you, govern each shipment and take priority over these Terms.
6. Prohibited and dangerous goods
Hazardous goods must be declared correctly with their IMO class and the required documents. We will not arrange the transport of illegal goods, goods subject to sanctions or export restrictions without the required authorisations, or goods whose shipment would breach applicable law.
7. Uploaded documents
Only upload documents that you are entitled to share and that are needed for your enquiry. Do not upload files containing malicious software or unnecessary personal data.
8. Use of the website
You may not use this website for any unlawful purpose, try to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or send spam or harmful software through our forms.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including texts, photos, graphics, the Blue Sun Shipping name and logo, belongs to Blue Sun Shipping or is used with permission. Third-party names and logos belong to their respective owners. You may not copy or use our content for commercial purposes without our written consent.
